MGB GT REPLICA TARGA FLORIO / SEBRING FULL FIA from 1967
COMPLETE RECONSTRUCTION 2016/2017; Development 2018.
True replica of the LBL 591 E car that raced the Targa Florio in 1968 and Sebring in 1967 and 1969 in a 4 cyl version without fender widener like the car of the time.
The current owner was at the time searching for a project replica of the LBL 591 E a 1967 car and acquired this car in 2016, He recontructed the car for about 9 months and the development has took over 2 years to reach the desired performance.
The owner has rebuilt the car, totally in the spirit of the original car on the FFSA N° 560 sheet. For the PTH FIA the car has all the specificities (so double elements) concerning the running gear, brakes, engine, appendices etc….
It is on the other hand currently for more effectiveness in configuration PT FFSA OK. (adjustable shock absorber, Weber carburettor, Big aluminium radiator, etc…)
It’s a full preparation 1950cc engine, Flywheel / Crankshaft lightened and balanced. Partitioned crankcase. Forged pistons. Forged connecting rods. Large camshaft. Moss cylinder head prepared large valves. Hi-torque starter, big oil pump, etc.
There’s also a stainless steel exhaust.
The car has a reliable 150hp and weighs 940 kg.
There are more modifications like:
Quaife auto blocking bridge. BV 4 MGMotorsport straight size close ratios. Specific special running gears with FIA approval. Shock absorbers and special racing rear blades.
Equipment: 14′ Minilite rims with central hub. Possibility of second set. FIA 6 point double bar roll bar. 5 point buckets / belts. Retractable steering wheel. Automatic fire extinguisher 5kg + manual 2Kg. Aluminium interior. Foot rests. Makrolon Inter com windows etc….
VHC Circuit. Versatile Rally VHC and VHRS. (Ramp 4 headlights. Tripmaster /cadenceur.)
The car is reliable and efficient. Eligible for major international historic races.

- Ramparts of Angoulême plateau Henri Greber (2017) and JP Beltoise (2018/2019).
- Rallye du Gard 2018
- Pau Historical Endurance pre 71 2019…
There is a press file available. The car is followed by the Club MG France.
This is the only MGB GT version in France Full FIA preparation and there is more than 60000€ of invoices present.
It’s a very beautiful and reliable car. It’s easy to drive, very efficient on a wet track, ideal versatility circuit and rally vhv vhrs.
The car has CG collection.
