Presented at the end of 1968, the Plus 8 heralded Morgan's sporting revival. In addition to a design recognizable among thousands, its engine made it one of the most pleasant production cars to drive, especially when accelerating.
Initially, the V8 developed 155 hp in its carburetted version, but this was increased to 190 hp at the beginning of the 1980s, thanks to the adoption of fuel injection. With less than a ton on the scale, the Morgan Plus 8 had a formidable power-to-weight ratio that allowed it to reach 200 km/h. With a clearly impressive thrust and acceleration for a roadster of this era, driving the Plus 8 is quickly exhilarating. And how nice the engine sounds!
The car we are presenting is a right hand drive. It is offered for sale today by the wife of its last owner, unfortunately deceased.
With less than 43000 km on the odometer, it will still offer great moments of pleasure to its future buyer.
