This fast youngtimer is a delight. The Mercedes 500SL is a fun car to ride with. The 500 SL was the first open top roadster released by Mercedes-Benz.
The bodywork is finished in outstanding red and its Signal Red paintwork is in good condition. The paintwork doesn’t show any damage except on the lower corner of the rear bumper. This damage is caused during the transportation. The cabin is trimmed in black nappa leather. The black dashboard and doors are accented by a wooden panel. The wooden panel in the center shows some cracks. The original front seats are in good condition. The seller reports that all instruments are working.
The black canvas convertible roof is in good condition and shows little cracks on the right side. The standard 16″ wheels are fitted with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires all around. Spare wheel is still present in the trunk.
The 5.0L 32-valve V8 V8 that put out 240 kW at 5500 rpm along with 450 Nm at 4000 rpm and is coupled to a 4-speed automatic gearbox and delivers 322 hp. This car is transported from California to Belgium.
