The Camaro Yenko is a car produced by Chevrolet and modified by Yenko Chevrolet from 1967 to 1968 for Phase 1. Its production amounted to only 201 according to Chevrolet and 199 according to Yenko workshops. American and rare European models are trading at prices ranging from 25 to 400,000 USD.
When the Camaro came out in late 1967, its 6.6-litre (396 cc) V8 was a slight handicap compared to the Ford Mustang, Plymouth Barracuda and Dodge Dart. Don Yenko opted for the 427 cc V8 L72 of the Corvette phase 2 and increased its power from 430 to 450 hp.
In 1968, small improvements were made to the new model: reinforced suspensions and a double bailer front hood (instead of one on the previous series) and a speed of 230 km/h.
This car is offered with French registration and technical control.
