The vehicle is located near Sint-Truiden (Belgium).
In 1974, the Zuffenhausen-based manufacturer decides to replace the 911 type 901 that is on the market for a decade. The changes made to the body design refresh the general line, even if some regret the simplicity of the 901. At its release, the 911 is equipped with the famous 2.7-litre flat-six engine. It initially delivers 150 hp, before being pushed to 165 hp in 1976.
The car presented for sale is clearly out of step with the original 1976 model. This choice was made by its former owner who wanted a custom car.
Imported from the United States to Belgium, the vehicle has undergone many transformations. The bodywork has been modified with the replacement of the famous bellow bumpers by a less massive model. The 2.7-liter engine was replaced by a 3.2-liter delivering 231 hp. The suspension and the exhaust system have also been modified. A roll bar and sport seats were also installed. Finally, the car has been completely repainted in its original color.
This overall transformation will drive the brand's purists crazy, but will offer its new owner a unique model made for fun.
This custom 911 is offered with Belgian registration documents, invoices and a FIVA certificate (Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens).
