The vehicle is located near Metz (France).
FIAT 124 2000 from 1979 equipped with the 2L 4-cylinder engine. It is an “America” edition intended for the American market. This is why it only develops 87 hp instead of 102 hp for European versions (engine flanged due to American standards).
It was imported from the United States to Luxembourg and then repatriated to France in 2019. It has an FFVE file and a French certificate of registration as a collection car.
Very good general condition outside and inside. The radiator is new as well as the canopy. A canopy cover is also available. A complete painting was redone 10 years ago.
The internal elements and trims are original. Only an aluminum/wood steering wheel and the radio set have been changed.
No corrosion of the chassis.
The mechanics are maintained but the change of the timing belt is to be expected (not knowing the date of the last realization).
Some flaws should be noted:
- Change of body element visible in the trunk,
- Paint blistering close to the trunk,
- Non-through hole on the hood interior trim
