The Citroën B14, with its all-steel body, is presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 1926. Compared to its predecessor, the B12, it represents a clear technical improvement. Its chassis is much more robust. It is longer, lighter and suspended on four semi-elliptical springs. The engine is smoother and the braking, now assisted by a brake booster, acts on all four wheels. The 4 cylinder engine of 1359 cc compared to the 1327 cc for the B2, develops 22 hp. The drive is done at the rear wheels, via a three-speed gearbox.
The car presented here is part of the Normande range, an open van. The platform was then fitted out. The car was restored about 10 years ago and was used as an advertising car and icon for a Belgian bakery.
