Volvo Amazon Combi P121
This 1967 Volvo Combi P121 is said to have been imported from Norway to the Netherlands around 1992 by the second owner, and has remained in the Netherlands during these days. This car is owned by a third owner who took the car over in 2006 from the second owner. This car with overdrive and power brakes is finished in blue over a red interior. The car has been pampered since then, and has been maintained through a Volvo/oldtimer specialist.
Power comes from a 1.8-liter B18 inline-four, which is paired with a four-speed M41 manual transmission with overdrive. The 1.8-liter B18 inline-four was overhauled in 2005. The engine got a new rear axle and a noise dampening according the seller.
The seats are trimmed in red vinyl and the floors are covered with black carpeting. The car shows rust stains and small usages of traces at some places (see gallery below for details). A fuse probably burned out for the fog lights as well, and the antenna needs to be repaired according the seller. Upholstery and the chrome are in good condition. Seller reports that the car has been repainted and a major welding has been done back in 2015. Added stainless steel bumpers and rosettes, plastic wheel casings for the front and chrome wheel rings all around. Some addition features are a tow-bar, blue windscreen, spare tire and recently four new tires has been placed.
Instrumentation includes a ribbon speedometer and an aftermarket tachometer on the dash. The five-digit odometer is said to register 8.000 kilometers, though the true kilometers is unknown. A retro Becker Mexico radio with navigation & hands-free with beautiful built-in speakers & GPS has been mounted in the dashboard.
Owner’s manuals are included in the sale as well as a collection of receipts.
