NSU Prinz 1967
Starting Bid: €2 500
This NSU Prinz was delivered new in 1967 in Ostend. The first owner always maintained the car clean, when the car was no longer in use it was parked in a garage. The garage of the owner was heated so the car stayed in good condition as it was in 1967. Therefore, the paintwork is still in very good condition.
After years in the garage, the owner decided to sell the car. The new owner breathed new life into the car. With a new interior, complete afterrun of the engine and a completely new braking system, this NSU is back. The paintwork is in good condition but you can see its age in it. The car still has the original paint from 1967 and is in very nice patina but not new. The car is as good as rust free, only on the front mudguard at the bottom is rust (see picture). The owner does have a spare part on offer which comes with the car.
The part has not yet been welded in because of the preservation of the original paint and appearance. The interior on the other hand has been completely renewed. With the original fabrics and semi-leather upholstery it was restored to new condition. Also, the front of the case was upholstered in the original Hardura floor covering.
The engine was completely checked and got all new seals. After so many years of standing still they had become hard. This was all done before the engine was restarted. After this work the car was started up and running like clockwork.
After checking the engine it was the turn of the brake system. All pipes were replaced as well as the pumps and brake shoes. This made them brake well again as the car was delivered in 1967.
The car comes with a registration certificate for Belgium and the complete paperwork.
