The vehicle is located near Sint-Truiden (Belgium).
Revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1987, the BMW Z1 has become an icon of the Bavarian brand. It was the first car offered by the subsidiary BMW Technik. Only 8,000 units were produced between 1988 and 1991, and the Z1 was powered by the BMW 325i E30, a 2.5-liter inline-six that offered 168 hp. Built in Munich and sold at a high price when released, the Z1 remains today an appealing roadster having inaugurated many innovations of the brand, such as ABS, the use of composite materials but, above all, the famous sliding doors.
This car is in a very nice condition for a 30 years old vehicle. The car has had only three owners and is offered for sale with German registration documents and invoices.
The car has been well maintained. It is worth noting that the last owner, a mechanic, has taken special care of it.
The car is very pleasant to drive. The engine works perfectly and has no problems or leaks. The gears shift easily. The tires are like new.
Some damages are visible on the pictures :
- paint chip on the left door and above the left headlight
- the interior shows some wear in some places
Another defect to report: the right window can only be closed with the key.
