Intermeccanica is a car manufacturer founded by Franck Reisner in 1959 in Turin. The history of the company is marked by numerous projects with the United States, Intermeccanica having a distribution activity on the American continent since 1966. Models such as the Italia, the Murena and the Indra were born.
In the mid-1970s, Franck Reisner moved to California and developed a project that would make Intermeccanica famous: the Porsche 356 Speedster Replica. To make a perfect replica, Franck Reisner will go so far as to rent a real 356 Speedster to design his car. It will be based on a Beetle platform and equipped with a fiberglass body.
To launch its production, Reisner joins forces with Tony Baumgartner. The company Automobili Intermeccanica was born and about 600 Speedsters were produced until 1979.
The vehicle presented for sale was imported from the United States to Belgium. It is sold with American papers and a certificate of authenticity from the factory.
Car is in great condition. Engine starts immediately and runs without any problem. Some scratches are visible (see pictures). The seats are a little faded by the sun. Some work has been carried out such as:

- New gauges
- New carburetors

Are all papers allready available to register this car in Belgium ? Or is there still admin work to be done to make sure the correct papers are available ?

Hello Jurgen, thank you for your message. All papers are available. Customs fees have already been paid and the car has a 705 vignette. No administrative work still needs to be done.
